A pillar grab handle retrofit.

Yes anything is possible, there is metal plates that sit inside the a pillar to fix the handles too so you would need to get those and rivet them to the metalwork in behind (pretty sure the holes are already there) then swap the pillar plastics for ones with the cutouts in for the handles

Someone went the other way recently so may have some a pillars to get rid of ?

Nice, i thought they rivetted on but guess they are bolted, so the question is if the nuts are there to bolt the plates to or if you need to put some rivnuts in ?
VW rivnuts are pricy but lots of them are hex shaped so not as common as normal ones

Hi, does it exist as well for the "B" pillar? I need to install one on my Transporter 6.1 right-side Sliding door. The Entry Level Bus comes without :-( . VAG P/N would be great in case...
There's a separate thread somewhere on the B Pillar handle. Not as straightforward but possible.

You don't need to swap the A-pillar trims either - there's normally a mark on the reverse for where the hole would be. Careful application of a drill / dremel. Jobs a good un!
I added a pair to my old T5.1

A pillar grab handles are a doddle , just require a kit and careful drilling like Split says .
B pillar grab handles require new trims aswell as the kit consisting of handle, handle cover, bracket and screws .
