A pillar grab handle retrofit.

Does anyone know if "A" pillar grab handles can be retrofit to a T6?

Yes anything is possible, there is metal plates that sit inside the a pillar to fix the handles too so you would need to get those and rivet them to the metalwork in behind (pretty sure the holes are already there) then swap the pillar plastics for ones with the cutouts in for the handles

Someone went the other way recently so may have some a pillars to get rid of ?

Love these! Are they Lego figures helmets? yes. Just filled it with blu tack and pushed on. Got ours by raiding our son's Lego stash.

Nice, i thought they rivetted on but guess they are bolted, so the question is if the nuts are there to bolt the plates to or if you need to put some rivnuts in ?
VW rivnuts are pricy but lots of them are hex shaped so not as common as normal ones

I did this on my T5.1 the rivnuts are there to screw the plates into when you take off the A-pillar trim.
