Hi guys I recently seen a company selling replacement A pillars with speakers built in which I like but not for £500+ so I thought I could make my own version for less money. I made a cardboard patern of the A pilar and laminated so wood to shape and bought a set of Alpine speakers to fit . As the A pillars are not flat I covered them in masking tape and used a bed of body filler to get the right profile and then sanded down the excess . I played around with the shape a few times to get the final shape I wanted. So it's a bit more chunky than the one I saw on the Internet but it cost £120 for the speakers and £15 for speaker grills as the Alpines do not include grills the rest was offcuts of wood and body filler I already had at home and some carpet liner btw they sound great .20250930_151604.webp20250930_152243.webp20251002_131429.webp20251002_144348.webp20251017_133937.webp20251017_134003.webp
