A bit off topic, but if I'm reading it right your screenshot suggests the journey would be 2 days by bike. 508 miles in two days!
I'd invest in an inflatable rubber ring to sit on afterwards!
And yes, I'd be very happy with 40mpg.

As comfy as the van seats are, my butt was a little numb after this journey...cannot imagine doing it on a razor saddle!!

I've got a 199PS T30 Transporter and average around 43/44mpg (usually I drive for about an hour on mainly A-roads and motorway) when loaded.
