A badger (we think) has taken a shine to our beloved campervan “Neo” whilst in storage, it seems to have good taste and has attacked 3 other VW campers as well, can anyone recommend a good repairer near me in South East or West London who will reuse as much of the bumper as possible and repair the scratches on the wing?

Holy Mandelson! You sure thats not werewolves? I mean, are VW putting pedigree chum in the paint?

Badgers are becoming a problem now they are protected.
They will eat absolutely everything on under or slightly above ground level.
Including T6’s apparently.
They are wiping out the poor hedgehogs and a lot of ground nesting birds.
I’ve seen a load of dug out holes in the river banks about the size of a beach ball where badgers have dug out wasps bikes.
Apparently they are immune to their stings.
I see many more dead badgers at the sides of the roads than I do deer these days
I spend a large chunk of the year in the wilderness and never used to see them barely at all but their numbers are now booming.
I love all nature and it’s amazing animals but I’m seeing the negative effects of lots of wild animals and birds being protected is having.
Nature is a fine balance too many of one species has a negative effect on another.

We need more large birds of prey and more foxes - pretty much the only natural predators to badgers as they can manage the level of badger cubs that survive.
Have to tell the rich folk to stop hunting those two though, and they won’t listen.

Neither would predate on an adult badger. Only young cubs or dying weak adults are at risk from foxes or raptors.

A fox wouldn’t take on a badger would it?
I took one on one night using my elderly Ford Escort estate back in the early noughties and even though I probably hit it at 40mph, leaving huge skidmarks in my pants, it still managed to crawl off into the hedge.
Looking at the car front end the following day the bumper was flattened against the front apron and there was a complete circumference fringe of badger fur stuck out at right angles trapped between tyre and wheel rim, no blood, snot or poop though. 🤕

Strangely, I was at a bodyshop today to see about the damage to my van. There was a hybrid transporter/golf bumper in for repair after hitting a badger. 1 less I suppose lol.
