8mm kador - help - railsail

I bought a kiravan railsail, very expensive sail awning. However for the life of me I cannot find an 8mm kedar strip adaptor. The railsail has very large 8mm strap sewn in and it will not fit in my existing 6mm rail. There does not seem to be a company around that does an 6-8mm drive away adaptor. I have searched high and low. Help.

It’s too big for my 6mm rail at least. I also have a plastic 6-6mm adaptor - it won’t go into that either. It’s defo no way 6mm.

Is it a struggle to slide into a rail?

Mines defefinatly 6mm as well and slides in no trouble
Perhaps give ghem a call and see if they have changed the design

Nice idea but I’m the other way around. I have the 8mm kador and need the plastic figure of eight thing in an 8mm-6mm

Managed to sort this by heating up the plastic 6mm figure of eight strip in the sun today, then used a small spade to open up the gap wider. Worked like a charm. Now slides over the stupidly large kador strip. Mine must be a second or early model as it is 8mm.

ha, well there you go. I have the opposite problem...
ordered the RailSail with the 6mm Kador and it's too small for my Multirail
- though bizarrely my 6-6mm Drive Away kit fits (the Multirail) just fine...

anyone else having issues?
