5 second beep driving me mad!

My month old Kombi has started emitting a 5 second continuous beep that is driving me potty. It mainly happens when I hit the brakes at fairly low speeds (<30mph) but can also activate when I'm accelerating. It happens when there are other cars nearby or when I've got the road to myself and am nowhere near the kerbs. I have the van booked in to be looked at later this month but if anyone can shed any light on this annoying problem, I'd be very grateful.

Just a thought but do you have your speed warning setting on?

Yes it's set to 100mph. Definitely not that but thanks for the reply

No nothing. that's why it's so annoying!

Have you got acc and city braking
If so there might be a fault with the radar
