We have a T32 TDi 204 DSG......
and while we don't pull a caravan or trailer we are fully loaded at about 3.2ton total weight and have no problems with power.
Gear ratios are spot on for a 7 speed box and the engine power has more than enough tourqe.

Braked towing capacity ranges from 1,800kg to 2,500kg on SWB panel van models, and from 2,200kg to 2,500kg on LWB panel van models.
Kombi models range from 2,200kg to 2,500kg braked, regardless of bodylength.
