Really nice entry into the world of Transporter ownership.
I bought this off someone I knew to do a nice swamper project and just having a nice fun project with my boys. So after a few months of said fun, my wife has advised that I need to “get rid of one of those bl@@dy vans” and hence this one is up for sale, as I can’t part with my T6!!
As stated, I know the guy who owned it for the previous 6/7 years and since I’ve had it, I’ve had various bits of work done to it and generally given it a makeover.
Condition wise, it looks a million dollars for its age and mileage, there is the odd bit that someone might want to get sorted as I’ve tried to capture in the pictures.
Good bits.
It’s just had a cambelt service
Just got 12 months MOT
Nearly new black rhino and big wheels and tyres
Rock and roll bed
Seats and bed reupholstered
Leisure battery with 12 sockets in the rear
Passenger seat swivel base
Led interior roof lights
Fully carpeted internally
Floor lined
Lots more in the pics
Loads of history and receipts
Drives like an absolute dream,
Bad bits
it genuinely drives like a van that’s done a 25k, but It’s done 225k, though with loads of history and receipts, it drives like a dream.
On the drivers seat bolster the top layer vinyl has cracked as per the photo. It’s not split, just cracked so a trim doctor could easily repair if needed
It’s been repainted at some point in its life and looks great, but a couple of bits of paint could do with a bit of tic if it bothered you, the photo of the bumper showing this is the worst but by a country mile, that’s probably 80% of the bits, the way I see it, it’s a swamper so should have the odd mini battle scar.
There is a smallish dent in the roofline as per the pic where some donut opened a car park barrier on it a couple of weeks ago, again if it really bothered you, my local bodyshop said it was a £200 fix.
£11,000, based in Cannock, difficult to gauge pricing wise but I think that’s in the ball Park.
