For Sale 20" Sportline Style Alloys and tyres

Hi All

I'm looking for some guidance on selling 20" Alloy wheels and Tyres, No experience of selling online and didn't get off to the best start.

So I have a set of 4 x 20" Sportline style Tyres, I looked on ebay and used like for like wording and pricing. Didn't get any interest and then 1 buyer asked the question if they were genuine 20" sportline alloy, this set off a lot of negative comments stating VW didnt do a genuine 20" sportline ( only 18"). I didn't have a clue on this info prior to advertising as these came with the van from the dealer, honest mistake !.

Please see pictures attached, they looked amazing on my van but I didn't like the van ride with 20" . They were on the van when we got our T6 transporter camper from Cambridge Campervans in 2019, but we changed late 2022 from the 20" to 18" ( went for Avon AX7 all season tyres - love them ) and want to get some feedback on a realistic price.

Alloys have some very small cosmetic blistering and a small scuff on 2 of them ,Happy to take further pictures ( close ups )

Tyres - are Tracmax - I would say these are basic tyres?

I will arrange courier to ship

Looking forward to getting some feedback and hopefully selling.

Hi mate - have a look on the inside of the wheels for some markings that will show the load rating for the wheels and measure how much tread depth is left on the tyres, the width, profile, load rating of tyres, then the guys might be able to offer some rough valuations.

Hi - Thanks for the detail, had a look i would say about 7mm - photos attached - taken photos of the rating and size and a couple of pics of minor scuff

To be fair the first thing I thought when I started reading was "20" Sport line, didn't know they did them in 20". I'm not 100% so we will see what those in the know think.

Only "genuine" ones were 18in so these will be aftermarket but the genuine one were UK only so not exactly factory anyway.

As long as they are load rated then they should be fine. Probably 9x20in, I had a set the same and they were decent enough quality and load rated. There will be stamps on the back to say width and offset.

On the back of the alloy, usually on the spokes

I once had 18” Genuine Mk1 Borbet Sportlines on my old T5 and my mate found a set of 20’s!
Genuine Borbets complete with all the stamps on the inside. Wish I kept them really as they were a great looking alloy.

9x20in et42 and load rated to 950kg so all good for T32.

Not OE so not factory.

Hi Mate, any feedback on a valuation, I'm going to have another go with ebay this week and hopefully get these shifted
