Hi all.
Had anyone fitted these? Are they OK?
I have concerns about the plate coming off.

I'm looking at them fitted with 275/40/20 106XL or should I go 255/35/20?
They are et45. 8.5"

I've honest bombarded everyone for information on everything so far. I'm sure it'll calm down once I do some mods.

Oh. It will be on. Koni active shocks and 50mm h&r lowering springs.

Hi, nice wheels, I like them a lot. As for tyre choice a 275/40 is like a monster truck tyre on an 8.5” wide rim.

If you’re T32 then a 265/40 is a much better choice than 275/40. It gives you the load rating you need, looks better and keeps Speedo more accurate than the 275/40.

If you’re not T32 there are other options, but as a starter you need to make sure the tyres are load rated.

T28 = load rating of 100 required.
T30 = load rating of 102 required.
T32 = load rating of 103 required.

A 255/35 is hard to find with the required load rating, I’ve only ever seen really cheap budget tyres in that size with the required load rating.

I wouldn’t worry about the plate coming off, they appear to be bolted on and should be secure.
