16" Question

Being happy with 16's as tyres are cheaper, ride is good plus they spin up quicker I wondered if anyone knew what was the widest safe size that could be fitted to Claytons, I wondered if anyone had 225 60 16s or even 235 55 16s fitted........longshot as I know sticking with 16s makes me a bit of an outlier.

I’m pretty sure if you stray outside the wheel manufacturers specification with tyres it would void insurance in the event of an accident. There should be a sticker on the drivers B pillar which shows the tyre options.
