Just a quick question for the experts , I've just turned 1000 miles in my new 150 DSG , never had one before so still new to it all , a couple of times I have caught the shifter and knocked it into N whilst driving , should this be possible ?? To move the shifter between other modes needs the button pressing on the side first , it seems strange that it doesn't between D and N ?? Any advice greatly appreciated

Same thing on my DSG. I sometimes fidle with the gear shifter wich ‘accidentally’ have knocked it in N. Now i dont fidle with it anymore..

I caught mine again yesterday whilst lifting my hand up to play with the radio , looks like I need to be more careful then ??

Mines the same, only need to press button to move it out of Park or into reverse from a driving position D/S/N

All dsg's I've had and a few other auto's I tried allow you to go into neutral while moving.

Doesn't cause damage so there's no real reason to stop you from being able.
