12v switched feed under bonnet

Hi guys after some advice. I have installed my spot light kit and all works fine. I have one connection to make which switches the relay. The cable is around the front light passenger side near the battery. I obviously have the light near this but unsure as to the connections here which would work for me and also how to remove the plug?? Any advice or alternative point to get the switch feed from?

whats the blue wire for?

to trigger the relay in the spot light kit?

what did you want to connect to? . . . . main beam/flashers?

or a on/off switch on the dash?

where did you take the main positive feed from, and the Neg?

got some pics for us?

Hi Dell.
I just connected the main feed and Earth to the battery. The blue wire just fires the relay as you said. I was just going to leave them on permanently as a day light runner. Do you think that’s a bad idea? Thanks

whats the spec of the lights/kit?

got a link for them?

also the ov ground should be a chassis ground and not direct ti the battery.

got some pics of them fitted an switched on?

hold on - sorry.

ignore that comment . . . "also the ov ground should be a chassis ground and not direct to the battery. "

I've just noticed you have no battery power sensor - so your van is either a T5/T5.1 or a T6 without stop/start

if thats the case then battery NEG post is fine . . .
