10” rear et 42 20” rim with a 275 40 20 tyre

As above I’m looking at a set of wheels and they come with a 10” rear et 42 with a 275 40 20 tyre has anyone got similar fitted. I’m lowered about 40mm I just want to check they will be ok before I take the plunge.

Depends what you are driving. I am looking for a similar set up but reading that Cali's and maybe Velles's may not take it due to the door card. Will be looking at the answers you get with interest.

10" rear with 275x40x20
8.5" front with 245x45x20

40mm drop (but now back to standard height with OEM springs)

275s are too big for these wheels on the front and were rubbing on fool lock and speed tables

Loads of room in the rear arches. For 40mm and that tyres and wheel size you will be 100% fine.

My old T6 TSI is lowered 70mm and is now running 285/35 tyres in a 10.5 run and no rubbing, with the new owner. It’s huge in there.
