07 T5 dipstick.

Hi I’ve just purchased a 07 plate t5. On Saturday before purchasing I checked the oil level. The dipstick is all black plastic end , making reading the oil level quite difficult. For older eyes anyway. Is there a replacement available that maybe a more noticeable colour yellow or orange or even metal ? I’ve done a quick online search but nothing really jumping out. Is my dipstick aftermarket or genuine ?

My mechanic painted mine white, with a spray can, its been 2 yeas and it works great and hasn’t come off. Not sure what paint he used.

I guess as long as it’s heat , oil resistant it should be good. Thanks for your reply.
