battery coding

Hi Everyone, I didn't start my T6 for around 3 weeks over Christmas and the battery seemed to die. Was getting about 11.8v and was told I needed a new battery. So I bought one and things seemed ok for about 6 weeks. Then when I started the van I'd get random faults flash up. Start-stop fault...

Do i need to program anything to change battery in T6.1 2020? The battery is 3 years old and lose the power pretty fast, almost down to 11,9V So i need to change the battery to something better.

Does anyone know how I can get this system removed so I can install my own? Tried VW main dealer as well as several recommended auto electricians local. Very frustrating!
