    Velare VLR16

Hi Daniel. They will fit the vast majority of T6s just fine. The 38mm offset on the 10” wide rear might only be a problem on really low vans, or a Caravelle or similar which has a thicker door card which can rub when you open the sliding door. For those vans Velare also do a 45mm offset on a...

What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Thanks for the idea. I am that bored at the moment that I'm reading these long threads all the way back.... I would imagine the LED is fed from a BCM output, so you could tap off the feed there, rather than ll the way from the driver's door. It probably needs an LED in the centre of the dash too...

    OEM alloys and Wheel-Spacers

The spigots on these wheels are a bit odd. The centre bore is 84mm with a large metal spigot ring that takes it down to 65mm. Apparently Wolfrace stopped making the 72mm version and started producing the massive rings to go with the 84mm version.

    Tiguan Wheels

Tiguan wheels are 5x112 so won’t fit a Transporter, which is 5x120. The Transporter centre-bore is 65.1 mm - bigger than the Tiguan. Make sure whichever wheels you find are load-rated to match your axle weights (ie: T28 has an axle load of 1600kg, so the wheel has to be rated to carry 800kg or...

[Guide] Adjusting B14 Ride Height With H&R ARBs

Thanks, but I don't have a welder or lathe. I've had a closer look tonight and couldn't see any remnant of drill bit left in so didn't grind it flat as I'd originally planned. I'll have one more go at drilling when the new bits arrive and after that I'll just have to take it somewhere.

[Guide] Adjusting B14 Ride Height With H&R ARBs

B I’ve had similar experiences with titanium drill bits. It’s best to dull the cutting edge on a brand new cobalt drill when drilling soft material to avoid it ‘biting’, jamming and snapping. This can be done by using it on a relatively hard material for a short time. If there is a piece of...

    17" Davenport Wheels Help???

...attempt....just ask @Tourershine as even with a mallet he couldn't get them to budge. I ended up hitting them with a larger hammer, filing off the powder coat on the centre bore and copper slipping to make life easier. Devonports will fit all T6s, ET56 is fine and have 65.1 centre bore fitment

...out a load rating in those images, but you need to have a minimum load rating of 805kgs for the wheels. Bolt PCD needs to be 5 x 120. Centre bore needs to be a minimum of 65.1mm, but can be more if you use spigot rings. You need 101 load rated tyres as a minimum, and on an 8.5" wide rim, your...

    Fitting BMW Wheels...

...without spacers i would think; I run (as do many) ET45 on 9J so these would be 3mm further in, and you're running a slightly narrower tyre too. You'll need spigot rings to adapt the T6 hub to the centre bore of the x5 wheel Seen plenty of T5's on tiger claws, but don't think I've seen any T6's
