I was told on the phone no, they are valid for longer IIRC it was 4-5 years, but I'd look for this in writing or speak to them on the phone yourself to be sure.

I am having to replace my standard satnav/audio for a new unit, A Pioneer unit with android auto. It has just occured to me I often go places with no phone coverage, will this mean my android auto satnav will not work?

I have the v1 with wireless screen mirror/casting and used to cast my android screen. I've since got an Android headunit and now use wireless Android Auto on that. I wish I had the v2 with HDMI input so I could show my headunit screen in the Digital dash.

@Bigsidavies be honest are you really taking these pictures with your phone as while I can get reasonable shots of the moon anything smaller and I zoom in and the background immediately starts jumping around like I'm on a trampoline. 🤕
