I wouldn't recommend putting LED bulbs in H4's. There is plenty of info about why, if you do a search

Hi All I have a few mods I'd like to do before I go down the new headlight route, so I thought I'd upgrade my bulbs to these, only trouble is, they've bow thrown an error light on the dash. Do I need anything to correct this? If not, is there a bulb anyone can recommend, as these for over £40.

Really sorry to sound pessimistic it’s really not worth spending the money on bulbs for the h4’s I done it and learnt the hard way! Save your money until your ready for an upgrade

I went for the H7's because I just wanted a better dipped beam. I know H4 have same 55w but my H4 with 200% Osram bulbs are still terrible, will the H7 beam be much better?

Yep. Look on the sticker, it says H7 H7 Whereas the H4 says H4 some other bulbs

...beam. The surface area of the H7 reflector is much larger than the effective dipped beam producing part of the H4 one. Also factor in that a H4 bulb has a shield over the filament to direct the light to certain parts of the reflector. A H7 bulb doesn't have this and emits light through 360°...
