Did you add a smear of oil to the rubber seals before fitting? That allows for a better seal.

I have quite a lot of oil, low down, where the plastic intercooler pipe joins the rubber pipe that enters the turbo. Is this a sign that the turbo seals have blown or is it common. Van runs fine and pipes are not split it's leaking from the joint. Any advice welcome.
