Hey guys,
Had the tdi400 remapped this week at a local place in Perth.
Only reason was to map out the EGR function and stage 1 tune. Not blown away by the tune in the slightest having barely noticed a difference and also when I picked it up on Tuesday and plugged Carista back in the DPF was...
I just replaced the EGR valve and cooler on my CXGB 2016 T6, and it seems to be running well. Do I need to do any calibration / adaptation with VCDS or similar?

I have a T6 2.0 TDi 104 ps I've owned it for 5 years and in that time I've had the EGR flushed under warranty once. Then had it replaced by VW dealership and then flushed twice more (as warranty work after the replacement also...

So EML light diagnosed as EGR valve failure, the warranty company have okayed this part but won't authorise the EGR hose as they say it's a none mechanical part. How can I argue against this. Garage said it needs doing
Evening all.
Apologies if this has been asked before, I have done a quick search but can't find a definitive answer.
The time has come for my EGR cooler to throw the expected leak. The one currently fitted is part number 04L131512T.
My question is, is 04L131512CF interchangeable? I can find...

What you read most is fitting blanking plates and code the EGR out to avoid the error messages. My question is, coding out the EGR doesn't change the fuel maps and AFAIK the required changes from removing the EGR are outside the compensation range of...
...coolant warning, so topped it up and checking regularly, it's dropped a bit more, and no external leaks, so suspect it's going in the engine.
EGR cooler issues common, so I removed the front exhaust EGR pipe and had a look with my endoscope, and it looks quite wet, but I don't actually know...

I have taken it to a reputable garage in Portugal who tell me that the EGR radiator has a problem and needs to be replaced. They suggested that I can drive the van back to England to have this work done.
What is the...

...fault on my 102 T6 a few years ago. I thought fair enough 50k on the clock. Not overly pleased but was expecting it at some point and so had the EGR valve and cooler replaced using OEM parts.
What's really annoying is that after only two years and 14k it's blocked again. No leaks anywhere...
Sorry if iv'e posted this thread twice.
i need to fit a new EGR valve, £600 notes from vw van service centre but they don't issue a vcds adaptation code.

...(when the fault code is inactive) and have not found any obvious air leaks.
The 2 most recent times the problem has presented, it's given an EGR fault too (p0402), I have also noted it occurs only when the engine is hot, usually at low revs, under load, often after stop start driving. It...

Just wanting to improve my understanding..
If an EGR Cooler is blanked off.. Will this mean that that the DPF blocks up / blocks up quicker?
Also, will the DPF still continue to function as VW intended / function effectively without adversely effecting the engine?
Understand that the...
