Are you saying the seat cupra seats fit in the existing VW bases without modifications? If so then you should be able to use any swivel since the dimensions will be the same. I’m happy with my sportscraft swivel. Keep in mind that adding a swivel can require lowering the handbrake lever mount...

Not had first-hand experience, but I believe you lose the ability to adjust the seat-height with factory swivels (sure someone on here will correct me if I'm wrong). If that's something you want/need, there are aftermarket swivels available that allow height adjustment.
