As I understand, the usual way to wire a Victron fuse (Midi or Mega) is to have the lug at the bottom and the fuse above or else you can be reducing the current carrying capacity of the connection but I was a bit surprised to see in the Victron videos at Fuses & fuse holders - Victron Energy that they show it the other way round. For example in that video, that sequence is:
Midi fuse: Washer - Fuse - lug - spring washer - bolt (from base to top)
Mega fuse: bolt - Washer - Fuse - lug - washer - spring washer - bolt
