Wing mirror replacement

Hi all, has anyone replaced their wing mirror on their T6.1 at all?!

I twatted my wing mirror a few months ago and now it doesn’t fold in / out that well, I’ve been told it needs a whole new mirror rather than just replacing the internal mechanism which has been bent.

I’ve seen these at vdubs or eBay and I’m wondering if anyone has any experience on their quality and ease of changing.

My mirror is heated and power fold which I understand makes it harder to change ?!

I replaced my bent one with a VW genuine part from TPS, can’t remember what it cost, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought, it took about 20 mins to replace from start to finish.
