Im looking at putting some all terrain tyres on my T6. Its lowered 50mm. The garage gave said they reckon the 255/55/18 will hit the arch and rub. Does anyone have any experience with this? Are 235/55/18 an option?
Too big on that drop will most likely rub. I have a Caravelle on standard suspension 255/55R18 just clears on mine but could catch on an other Caravelle because wheel arch liners are not machined accurate to small tolerances so might fit one and not another the Caravelle Executive is minus 20mm from standard. Unless you need All Terrain Tyres live in the country travel along many rough unpaved tracks a farmer or worker in that environment or regularly travel off road then AT are not the best tyre consider an All Season something like Michelin CrossClimate or similar from a top manufacturer Michelin CrossClimate 3are available from July 1st 2025 this year in two versions likely to be the best AS tyre available for a while. More than enough for occasional off roading and any camp field.

Currently have Stance+ Street with 255/45r18, about 50mm lowered. I'm wondering if I can go 255/55r18 if I lift it as high as the coilovers will go (still about 30mm from stock I believe), or if I'll have to swap it out.
