Having discovered that VW has done away on the time element on cambelt changes due (it is rumoured to improvements in belts) I am wondering how I can make sure that I am buying a belt of the right quality? My original belt was a Dayco belt (with teflon finish on the teeth). Dayco list the correct belt for my CAAC engine as # 941033 which is a grade HT belt (max temp 120 degree C). Should I buy a Dayco kit with this belt or get a much more expensive VW kit? This is important as I only do a small mileage each year.
