Which Tyre Rating For My Van

Hi I have a t6 shuttle T30 on V5 but all shuttles come with T32 set up and 17" wheels.
My problem is tyre rating the van has come with 215/60 R17 96H.
When you enter the reg on tyre sites most come up with 215/60 R17 96H and some with 215/60 R17 103H.
Which is the correct size or can you use both ?

I think perhaps T30 Shuttles are rare. Maybe check your axle loads on the vin plate to make sure its registered correctly. Not sure specific axle loads of a T30 but you need a minimum of 103 load rating for a T32.

V5 has van as Transporter T30 SE TDI BMT with Gross weight 3200KG
The van is ex Motability and had all rear seats removed and wheel chair used fitted.
So this may be the reason for T30 on V5 and has always had 215/60 R17 96H but like you fell the van should have the high rated tyres.

Yeah that's odd. Could be an error by original dealer when it was registered. As you look at the engine from the front, on the left hand side you'll get the proper plated weight. It is possible to down plate a vehicles weight, if done through proper process, but it must be labelled as such.

Top number is the max gross weight (vehicle plus load).
Second number is the max train weight (vehicle plus load plus trailer & load).
Third number is max front axle load.
Forth number is max rear axle load.

The supplied tyres are well under rated! Only good for a car me thinks..

Merry Christmas to you all.
Checked the the placed weight and is in fact a T32 with Gross at 3200 Front 1710 rear 1720.
So will need to get the V5 changed from T30 to t32.
Hopefully this will be easy to change the info with DVLA ?
