Rite folks, I’m after some help. I have a t6 1 year old highline. Recently had h&r 40mm springs fitted. Ride is ok but can be a bit crashy. I really would love to improve the ride so make it a bit smoother. Should I go Bilstein B6 or B8. Have read a thousand posts and can’t work out what is best.

B6 seems good up to 40mm, b8 seems standard for lowered springs? But could be a harder ride? The van is mid camper conversion so have fitted soft front and hard rests as recommended by converter.

What do I do??? Whhaaaa!

I did that, spoke to a young chap that wasn’t very knowledgeable and left me just as confused.

I would suggest trying again. If you know the spring rate of your springs there must be a technical person who can give you a recommendation/suggestion. Don't give up.
This is why the B14 kit is so good - the springs and dampers are matched to each other.

The B8 is designed to work with lower springs - since you have lower springs, I'd say the B8 is the obvious choice.
The B6 is a replacement for what you have now.
