Starting to buy a few things now for my arrival of my white, edition and want to change the chrome strip on the upper grill and the lower grill strip both to white as well as try and get the grills in gloss black. The only company I can find is Customvanz that want £600 plus vat for this.

Are there any other companies that people know of?

You could always try getting them wrapped. It’d be a fraction of that cost.

Yeah that was my thoughts for the white strips but unsure about the actual grills to gloss black

Painting is your only real option for them, the upper three sections just pop out but the two foglights trims are more difficult as the bumper needs to come off and they are plastic welded in place
You could consider a caravelle grille for upper one but these have three chrome strips but ate already gloss everywhere else ?

If you're Gloss Blacking your grills, that's where a lot of the quote will be accounted for. OK, it is quite a high price, but there's a fair amount of work involved removing the front end to actually get to the grills, then the prep needed to get the bare plastic ready for a paint. I've done all the stripping and prep work at my bodyshop, and i'd say start to finish it's around 8hrs if you have done this before, then materials, and time in a booth etc, it's easy to see why you'd pay £400-£600 for this job.
As for the chrome strips, I agree with @DaveyB, and wrapping would be my preferred method, simply because it's an easy job, and can be reversed in the future if you ever fancy a change. Bare in mind that the upper grill chrome strips don't come out easily, and you need the grill off to access the tags behind the strips. Plus they are very easy to bend out of shape. The lower chrome strips are a little easier to remove.

I'd like to see the finished job though. I love the finishing touches of Gloss Black work, and don't think i've seen anyone go White on the strips yet.

Edit:
Just reading your post again, and your location, I don't know if you meant £600 for supply of new grills already done and sent to Germany, or the job being done on your actual van, or an exchange service with Customvanz?

My plan is buy them from Customvanz on my trip to the up when I pick up the van and see if they will fit it for me fingers crossed.

So the price they quoted was for them to supply and fit? If so, it's not as expensive as you think, and also if so, do you keep the original grills etc?

I’m not sure if it includes fitting but will ask Monday. I don’t mind paying the price I was just wondering in my original post if there were any other companies that do the gloss black grills etc as this was the first company I came across, I like to shop around.

New to the van world so I’ll probably ask a lot of silly questions over the next few months before I pick her up.

Nah.. no such thing as a silly question in here, just don't ask a question that's been asked a million times  just use the search box and revive an old thread, it's much easier.

Lower grille ones are available, not sure about upper ones ?

Hi @Pauly

Do you know who sells them
Could the longer lower ones not be shortened and used on the top ones

Thanks
Andy
