Wheel & suspension thoughts

Hi all,
I'm sure there are a lot of similar threads but I'm hoping to gain your thoughts given a lot of you appear to change your wheels frequently and have probably agonised over a similar dilemma.
I'm picking up my van today which is a starlight blue factory kobmi highline t32, 19 plate.
I've already ordered and received some other mods but welcome your advice on wheels.

I'm looking to lower the van by 30mm-40mm (ideally 40mm) using lowering springs. I want to renew the wheels for either 18" or 19". I'm planning on gunmetal grey or black. I really like the supermetal cell wheels.

I'll be using the van as my daily driver, mountain biking (so accessing rutted lanes etc will be required) and transporting our camping gear etc.

What are your thoughts / experiences please on the best looking wheels given the above?

Thank you, any comments will be appreciated and no doubt save me a lot of time.

Make sure your new wheels and tyres are T32 load rated....

Less choice for that van... but plenty out there...

Cantera 19's lowered 40mm with H&R's with Koni's adaptive shocks

You can get the Cantera's Black or i've seen them powder coated in gun metal grey... T32 rated as well..

Cheers. I'll keep an eye on here and see if anyone is selling a set. Think I'm going to go with the H&R -40mm as well.

Yes, 40mm is a good compromise for lowering the van.. in my case i still wanted some 4M off road capabilty, the ride will still be a bit harsh if you just do springs without the shocks.. the Koni's transformed the ride and are highly rated.

Drop @CRS Performance a PM mate for the Koni's and springs... i think he just supplies or supplies and fits as well. I lot of us have used him and he comes recommended.

There are a few options depending on what you want from the ride and the van...

As for the Cantera's i picked them up from a VW showroom which were selling them off cheap on ebay as they had done 200 miles and taken off an Amarok.. expect to pay around £500-£600 for the wheels.. but factor in tyres as well as the Amarok tyres will be the wrong size for your T6.

Not the same blue as yours but this might help picture what the Canteras will look like on a blue van. I picked these up a few weeks ago on eBay and paid £750 for them. They were shod in Amarok tyres which were brand new. I sold them for £230 so overallCD881718-996C-42E1-81C1-E8D87DB21BAB.jpeg the wheels cost me a little over £500 which I’m happy with. There are a few sets on eBay at silly prices but if you keep you eye out they do come up at sensible prices.
Van isn’t yet lowered. I’m considering which route to go, there are so many options..........

@Whitty - No spacers yet mate, the front sit spot on, the back could do with 15mm spacers to bring them level with the front.. but it doesn't bother me too much at the moment. just weighing up the issues with spacers before deciding whether to fit them or not..

What issues with spacers are you concerned about ?

Not really with a small spacer... lots of people have added spacers... the wheel alignment might need re-checking again and i've only just had that done... so will probably leave it for a bit while i tick off a few other things on the endless list of T6 items i need...

Would you consider 25 rear 20 front small ?
