Hi, Carista tells me right rear sensor is faulty, is this part accessible by removing the wheel? If so, would I need any other support, safety wise, besides the supplied jack?
Sensors are usually well stuck and tend to snap taking them out. Is yours 4motion or not? If not it's a little bit easier, apparently you can access the sensor tip by popping a plastic cover from within wheel hub. On 4motion you need to take the sensor out from outside of the hub - I ended up using dremel for ages to get the tip out.
And as @Deaky said, don't trust the jack. Support the vehicle properly, you will most likely need to spend some time with your head in the wheel arch.
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and hoping for some advice please. I have recently tried to resolve what I thought to be a classic ABS/ESC rear right wheel speed sensor fault by replacing the sensor with a compatible (I think?) RIDEX Plus component...
