What other cars do you own?

Lovely, Hi-tech interior as well. Looks a great example, Im not going to guess the price. I ran one of these for about 7 years, midly tuned to 500bhp, beat the hell out of it and it took it all in its stride. Other than my 996 easily the best car I've ever owned. Such a cool car on the road, amazing engine and best of all a fast estate. Really miss mine. Had a few friends with them as well......

I picked this one up from Aberdeen - I see this is where you are from.
I’m loving this already. Always wanted one. Can’t stop driving it

Oh really, @Gmac77 on here still has his in same colour as yours (lives in same village as me) and we tend to know where most of these are in Scotland so not heard about this. Is it stock engine?
I put 3in Wagner downpipes, Intercoolers and exhaust, flatshift, remap and few other tweeks like coilovers, B7 brakes. Very fast cars, surprised a few things in it, TBH other than a new RS6 and the likes of the other B5's wasnt much that was as fast. Easily dailyable as well but when needed it will scare the pants off you. Sound great as well. Mine was sold then sold again and broken for bits as it was worth more that way. Still have a stock exhaust if you want it all OEM.

Sorry some pics to show. Id have another for sure if circumstances were right but enjoying my 996, other than the rust......

On the rollers, the fatboys were needed to keep traction.

Sorry to hear that ours is slowly getting there.
Yours is looking good.

I paid £150 for the '69 bus back in 2008 and replaced most of the metalwork, the roof was done 3 times as I changed my mind.
It had an extra 14 years on the road and did about 40k miles all over the UK and Europe, so don't feel sorry for it and it's also donated most of the running gear for the '67 deluxe.
I've had a bit of metalwork done on that as well.

This car was in Aberdeen its whole life. Up until 2016 it was used daily then stored by the recent owner. I can’t stop driving it. I’m keeping it standard engine wise. Maybe a set of Coilovers and spacers - maybe an up to date head unit. What wheels and suspension were on yours?

Send me some details and pics on your exhaust. I could be interested.

Never knew about this one at all. Try and drive one that's been mapped at least and you will change your mind. The downpipes were the biggest difference. Good to get rid of those precats but it's stock I totally understand.
Will send photos of the exhaust.

I bet they're as cheap as chips now aren't they.
I had a 30d but never a 35, heard they go pretty well.
Put it this way, there's £25k in the bank where the T6 sized hole used to be. And yes, it's quick, but driven carefully it will do over 40mpg.

This is what I drive for fun. I've owned it for ten years now and have been all over Europe in it, although it hasn't been used much since the kids came along. I've got a road trip to Le Mans booked in for the summer, with a couple of mates who have a Porsche Boxster Spyder and a mk1 Golf GTI. Maybe when the kids are older, and if they're interested, I'll need to take the Caravelle, but for now I'll be in the 355.

The most fun car I've ever had on the drive was a Caterham.

That has to be one of the best sounding engines ever.

I know it shouldn't, but that scares me.
