Does anyone know what this hole in the sill is for and why it does’t have a bung in it, like every other hole does?
I only noticed this hole this week because it’s usually hidden by the plastic under-tray.
It’s quite different to all the other holes too - as it has this reinforced outer layer across the outside of the matching hole in the main inner layer.
There is an access panel in the plastic under-tray to access this hole but I’ve no idea why (off I go to RTFM again.)
It almost looks like a jacking point but I don’t think it could be strong enough for that. It seems bizarre to have this open hole when every other hole is plugged, and we’re trying to minimise dust getting inside the van.
