What is a good spare tyre? Im running 20" alloys at the moment

Just use the website ‘willtheyfit’ to identify a suitable size 17” wheel / tyre combo that has a similar rolling circumference and just drive like its a space saver

Your original wheels and spare should be correct (cos your 20s should be sized to be a similar circumference to ensure speedo is correct). I have 20s and my spare is the original 17” spare with higher profile tyre

Just make sure that you carry 5 VW wheel bolts if you use a steel wheel.
