Hey, new member here, just looking for some advice or if someone could point me in the right direction please.

I have a 2016 LWB VW Transporter, T6 model with a pop top. I’m looking to purchase this particular drive away awning

I’ve watched the YouTube video in the link below that suggests I need a Thule canopy fitted first which includes the bracket/attachment for the drive away awning to connect to the van…..Is this my only option? As I have a pop top and no roof bars

Thanks Guy

Have you got a picture of the roof of your van with the pop top down. You need either a C-Channel awning rail or a Reimo rail (or similar). Both can have the awning connected directly to the van but for ease if you intend going off in the van for the day a drive away kit will make it a lot easier.

As above you need a Crail. Or multi rail.
