It does have a peaty aroma that is for sure. Rather enjoy it usually have just the smallest drop of water with a malt but had that by the throat and pleasant warm glow it gave . I only bash down blended with ginger wine, whiskey mac. A Beginner’s Guide to Making a Whisky Mac

Parents are coming round tonight so I thought I’d grab some beer from the local brewery using the membership they bought me for Xmas. Been saving it up so was able to get 5 lts of their seasonal special, Fanny Ebbs my absolute favourite on a hot summer day. I do like it chilled a little more than recommended for ale but no one wants a warm beer on a hot summer day.
In mostly unrelated news the camping toilet arrived today

Have not decided the others have gone to the flicks and I did not fancy it not into superheroes. I generally do not drink when the others are out just in case so will wait and see when they return, probably too late for them to bring home chips which would have been nice.

Thought I’d try this as the selection at the local coop and tescos is terrible now, coop had a great selection before

It’s ok but I’m glad I only got 2 bottles as it’s too hoppy for me

Edit: coop own brand but not exactly cheap at £2.60 a bottle

Edit edit: just seen the bit round the top that says it was bottled by Robinson brewery. Trooper is nicer

Edit edit edit: says fyne ales on the bottle too but they are based in Scotland and it says it’s bottled in Stockport by robinsons???

I stayed there with my son while cycling from reading to bath on the canal. Nice little place but the pub wasn’t servicing food when we turned up so we had to have our emergency Mre rations. Could have fitted our little tent on your vw mat

It's a carrying tray. Did think about trying to half-inch it but it it only holds 6 x ⅓pts.

I did wonder if it was a brewery special but it is very good. The only thing is I could imagine the guys at home drinking away while I am doing he driving!
