They were into big imperial stouts in the early days. I have quite a few in the cellar that I’m gradually working through.

Earlier today, Exmoor gold, very nice at Tarr farm inn, Tarr steps and this evening Exmoor ale at the bridge inn Dulverton both very nice but no photos as I kept drinking them

Marble Brewery in Manchester. They've developed the range a lot since I used to drink in the Marble Arch nearly 40 years ago. I wouldn't touch most of them now but this is good.

And following that, I decided to have a look at their website.

Lots of IPAs and sour stuff, but enough choice of other (i.e. Old-fashioned) beers for me to choose 12.

And free delivery to Stockport! A great way to start a Friday afternoon
