What are peoples opinions on this van for a camper conversion?

Hello all,

Thanks for adding me to the forum, newbie to van world, so many people on here lots of knowledge which has been great help.

I am looking for T6 SWB DSG T30 or T32 panel / kombi for camper conversions.
I’ve been to few conversions companies to get feel for right setup.

As we all know there shortage of semiconductors, hardly any new vans around, and second maker vans prices have got mad!

Will there be short fall next year of vans ?

What are peoples opinions on this van, I will test driving it on Friday

Looks a nice van, Colin Ludwell have been there for years and sell a fair few transporters. (Although I have never bought from them).
The van spec looks good, very similar to mine. List would have been around £40k new so prices at present are high but you can only go by the current market. If it’s the right van go for it.

It’s 150 on there spec sheet
I live not to far from there and there not van specialists by any means but that doesn’t mean to say it’s a bad thing! I just can’t believe what these vans are going for now I’m so glad I bought pre Covid times! You mention you want to convert but it’s twin sliders so does that fit in to your conversion plans it works for some people! Will say have a look in for sale section on this forum there’s some cracking vans for sale

As yes twin sliding doors is not ideal, I'll give that van miss, thanks Chippie1 for spotting that

also consider a LWB. - the extra space makes a difference! Check for LED headlights - they are a must. Also the NAV is a waste so don't worry about that but app connect is important.

ps ..my 204 is about 32/35mpg but it tows…and drives far to fast
