That’s interesting as VW Chelmsford has confirmed my build as week 16 and confirmed due to arrive end of May?

From a recent chat with VW I am week 39 which is end of September so it must be calendar year

Googled - Week Numbers for 2021 assuming they start at the beginning of the calendar year.

Build weeks are simply calendar week.

Nothing more complex.

Model year change is week 22.

OK, so VW have changed the week numbering. It used to start at the beginning of the Model Year.

I worked in technical for VW a few years back and factory build week was always been calendar year as far as I know.

Dealers themselves may use something different.

Week 20 commences 17 May - at least that’s when VW chat tell me is the week and date that my van will start build. Not that I have had cause to believe much of what VW chat have had to say over the last 6 months of waiting.....
