Day to day driving and electrics

Hi. Picking up our first campervan in the next week so a newbie. Question is the van will be used daily to and from work for the next 3 to 4 months in the week do I need to turn off any of the electrical equipment example inverter. The van as a solar panel fitted and leisure battery. Or leave everything as it is which would of thought might put extra use on the battery

You may as well turn off the inverter if you're not using it. Fridge I would turn off and leave door ajar for ventilation. I do leave my electrics off if I'm not using them.

Someone with more knowledge will be along shortly and put my opinion out of the window :think smile bounce:

we only switch the fridge on when we use it, same for the inverter. Everything else stays "as is". We let the battery/solar etc just get on with it. If the 12V side is correctly set up, it's a fit & forget jobby.
