Have a T6.1 Kombi. 23 plate. Just before the summer I noticed that when I opened the passenger door, there was some water just below the step into the van, on that curved lower portion that goes against the very bottom of the door. Was there a few times after heavy rain or a wash. Went to VW who replaced the door seal. Didn't get a chance to test it afterwards as we had (still have) a hosepipe ban in South Yorkshire and I had 5 weeks off so went abroad in the van. No issues. Came back to Blightly and it's doing it again. Never any water inside the van, either on the roof or on the floor. Booked back into VW for a service and a re-look.
However, since coming back from holiday, also noticed on the sliding door on the same side, water in the lower door roller after a heavy rain. Again no water anywhere inside the van.
Windows are not obviously leaking inside. Have roof bars fitted (approx 6 months before I first started noticing water) but can't see how any ingress from them would work it's way all the way down to the lower roller without any water anywhere else - or is this the likely culprit?
And if I should redo the roofbars, does anyone have a recommendation for some place to get these done well in the S Yorks area?
