WeBuyAnyCar - price fair?

After reading through this thread, I decided to go on Motorway for a valuation.
This morning they had a guessstimate of £32k.
By the time I went through all the rigmarole of taking photos left, right and rhubarb, it went down to £31k.
It doesn't take into account it's a full camper conversion with further £000's spent on it.

My synopsis, they can get fooked.
I've done well selling through Motorway, but they have been regular cars that are high in demand. Something out of the ordinary with a limited market is never going be make good money on these sort of platforms. They don't want them, but if they do, they need to be cheap to negate the uncertainty.

It’s peak time to be selling a camper! A trader will snap it up to flip it quick on motorway. Put it through an auction on motorway and make sure they’ve added pictures of the inside. If you don’t get a good price you can still walk away.

Even though it states an auction, it also stated that if the price of £31k is met, you agree to sell at that price.

Thats 9 grand under where I want it to be, not gambling that type of money.

Don’t want to state the obvious here. They are both trade buyers who sell on at a profit. The only advantage I see is a quick sale albeit below retail prices. It must suit people who don’t want hassle with time wasters. A p/ex deal is much the same. I know most people have high expectations of the resale value of their vehicles. Good luck

In my experience WBAC are a bunch of thieving bas***ds. Offer you top dollar, then when you get there knock you down for the slightest fault. Tried to sell my last Skoda Estate through them, told them to shove it, sold it the next weekend through Autotrader for 1.5k more than WBAC offered.

The guy who came out of the hutch with his clip board clearly following a script and knew nothing about cars.
