Hello, new poster here, with questions....many questions....

So, here goes...... I've got the van(T6 swb highline) and I want to get sorted out for a bit of weekend camping. Not got a massive budget and the van is to be a work van primarily so not going to spend loads of coin. I want to keep the van as bedroom area and have an awning to cook/eat/sit. I have seen a Vango bondi which is a decent brand and fairly cheap, it would seem fairly ideal? opinions please? My big question is, how this fits to my van? Is it essential to have a fixed rail to the van? Are more temporary methods possible? Are they any good?

That'll do for a start.... Ta in advance for any replies/suggestions.

Most people have a multirail... but there are a few options such as the fixed windout awning or attachments that fix to roof bars to mount the awning... i stuck with a reimo multirail, so can't comment on the others. Good luck and hope you enjoy your trips..!

Tbh, I thought I'd read that, it probably just didn't compute! I think, for my purposes, that would probably be ideal actually. I'm not worried about drilling into the van or stuff like that , I just want to find out what in general works best for me, and maybe even "the wife"? lol.....
