I am thinking of taking my 2 boys(9&11) to the GB rally this year. It's always been on my list of things to do and as my sons are a couple of car nuts(forza is their life blood) I thought it would be a good father son couple of days.

Any one been to GB rally events before and could give any tips would be appreciated.
Was thinking of just sleeping in the Kombi?
Really would like to see the old Group B rally cars in action:tongue bounce:

Your not missing anything, fast, noisy and quite a few guys ended up getting killed. Where is it this year in Wales?

My mate and his wife do it every year and loads of other rally events too. My mates wife is probably one of the best
Lady photographers in the country.

My mates 555 full rally spec, and the roof is signed by quite a few famous rally people too.

They do a stage about 6 mile from me at Chirk castle also do a stage near banwy vans who supply loads of goodies for Vw transporters which is local to me :)

Oh gosh! I must have just missed the early bird tickets then. Want to go!

I would love to go this year but work commitments on this prison is going silly not enough hours in the day , so will miss it this year:( next year got to decide if to go in the van or the cosworth :)

We went up to Sweetlamb on Friday, the first time I have ever seen the WRC "in the flesh". Although it p*ssed down the whole day it was well worth it, the vibe was good and we had a great time. Apologies for the grainy pictures, the rain was horrendous and the camera lens was getting a battering! DSCF6043.JPG S0055959.JPG

Mine was on a J plate, showed it on concourse at RSOC. In the last year i had it, it covered 1100miles, that was for the bargain of £1 per mile in insurance costs. Was gutted when the chap who came to buy it turned up in minging filthy tyre fitter coveralls, black from head to toe. I couldn't bear to watch him get in it and drive away when I spent so much time keeping it pristine.
