vw t6 media centre (sat nav radio)

I have a media unit in the van and the touch screen has stoped working,
Dav tec said it can be repaired at a cost of £230.
I have been told that the unit is coded and i do not now the code?
If it is taken out of the van and replaced in the same van after the repair
will I need a code

Coded to the van just means it will only work in your van. There is no code as such.

Yes you will be fine, once repaired it will work ok…no need for code
