Sat nav post code search

Hi all,

Do t know if I’m being g a tick old bugger but I can’t suss out how to search with postcodes on my nav head unit (2017 T6). It just says can’t find. I’ve tried a space in the middle of the postcode and still no joy. Any pointers please

Try putting a space at the end ?

You have to enter it in the correct place, it doesn’t go into the normal address bar you have to select postcode before entering

Sold my T6 a few years ago so can’t remember exact wording but think the button has an abbreviation for postcode ??

Or if you have CarPlay, sack off the VW Sat nav and use google maps instead from the comfort of your sofa, search on your phone check the exact location on the map show directions then it’s ready to go when you get in the van

I brought a dongle. Sits connected to usb in glove box and use Waze. Brilliant saved me lots of times avoiding jams, speed camera warnings etc.
van satnav has no live info on my T6

Checked last night and mine doesnt have the Ptcd option in the searches. Gonna look in to getting carplay

Just before you commit.
Click the new destination button at the bottom of the screen…this will bring up a dialogue box with address fields.
Click on “city”
Bottom left, click on “pstcd”
