VW T6.1 reclining double passenger seat

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the whole kombi/van world. I'm buying my first one (9 seater) for my family.
I've almost decided to buy a used 6.1 Start/Trend line Caravelle, but the more I learn (online) about vans the more I learn how, in a way, unpractical they are - unless you spend a lot more money than the base versions.

So, my current worry is - from what I've gathered - you can't recline the double passeneger seat? At all? - I'd have to order a custom made bracket to get it to a fix 10% recline?
Is this fixed seat a real problem or 95% comfortable enough? Have many of you gone through this alteration or just a few vocal monirity?

Anyone in continental Europe who had this alteration made?

Doesn't recline, it is a fixed position seat.

I don't find it too bad.

It needs more recline than factory for comfortable cruising. The bracket is only £120 though and an easy fit. In the scheme of a £40000 van that's not really 'a lot' more money. Worth every penny.

£120, can you post a link please I can only find one at 70 or 179 from Ms craft or vankraft. With Vankraft you can also fold the seat flat which you can't with the MSCraft one
