Hi chaps
Looking for your opinion and advice on this as it's weighing on my mind. I replaced my Devonports with some powder coated Volkswagen GP steel wheels and Falken Wildpeaks. Stock suspension and no spacers.

So when the wheel refurb company came to fit the new wheels and I drove away, I could hear clicking on the front each wheel revolution. Turns out the wheel balance weight that was stuck on were catching the outside of the brake caliper on the front.

Took it back and they moved to caliper slightly further inside the rim and all was fine. This left me with about 5 mm Clearance on the nearest part of the outside edge of the caliper to the wheel rim. They assured me this was fine and within safe tolerance as did a chap at Ats.

Just wanted to get your thoughts on this some pics below for reference. I’ve had this set up now for about a month and all seems fine. What do you think? Is this all fine and no need to worry??

Here's the pics of the Brakes and Calipers.

Heres My T6.1 with the VW GP Steels and Wildpeaks fitted.

And Here's a pic of the Caliper to Hub Clearance : About 5mm at it's closest point:

You can see from this photo the sticky pad remnants from when they had to remove and re-locate the balance weights:

Many Thanks

Yeah completely normal.
At least they didn't try to fit knock-ons and damage the new powder coat .

How did they move the Caliper? I thought they were fixed in place with the bolts with no "adjustment"
