Van back from 30mm lowering and received a complimentary service wash.

Quality of wash finish is excellent and far better than I can achieve!

What do VW dealers use for their washes?

Silicone in a can .. (aka b#ll#hit spray) to mask the swirls and grit masks induced by said dealers washing methods into your nice paintwork.

i think they used a bucket river water on mine, with a bag of sand in it, swarfega on the brillo pad, acid snow foam, power washed off with a sand blaster.

Never again, never again i tell thee :mad:

You might of been lucky and got a good guy, or you have a light coloured T6 and just cannot see what damage they've done.

Crux,
I'd ask the dealer if I were you pal !!!

Usually a super strong TFR (Traffic Film Remover)...basically Acid! It'll strip any wax on there. Not sure about ceramics or hydrophobic coatings. My old black side bars were destroyed by the local dealers "washing" and I had to repowder coat them.
